With a focus on customer satisfaction, we're committed to delivering exceptional experiences that drive loyalty and growth. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Care Tax Expert - Payroll, you will be responsible for: * Researching payroll tax issues raised by internal stakeholders and customers, providing timely resolutions, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax filings and payments * Assisting customers with tax-related questions through inbound warm transferred phone calls and inbound customer emails * Collaborating with internal operations teams and tax agencies to obtain accurate payroll tax account information * Identifying and resolving root cause discrepancies and recommending process improvements to reduce tax issues and improve payroll tax filing efficiencies * Corresponding with tax agencies regarding tax notices, inquiries, tax penalty abatements/waivers, and tax clearances * Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and participating in special projects and/or other duties assigned **What We're Looking For** We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess: * 2+ years of experience in a role responsible for customer satisfaction and championing the customer experience * 2+ years of prior payroll service bureau experience and knowledge of payroll taxes, including federal, state, local, and paid family leave * Strong critical problem-solving, customer communication, organizational, and influencing skills * Experience working with sensitive/confidential information * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite **Special Sauce (Non-essential Skills/Nice to Haves)** While not essential, we're excited about candidates with: * MasterTax Experience * FPC or CPP certification * Associates or Bachelor's Degree **Our Spread of Total Rewards** We strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate the best and brightest people in our industry.
