Position: MDS Coordinator, NO FLOOR WORK, Local, Partial Remote Partial Remote Work Schedule Possible! Unlike most other MDS opportunities out there, you will not be required to work the floor...we want you to be able to focus on what you're an expert in, which is minimum data set coordination in the PDPM environment of 2025. There is the possibility for partial remote work, depending upon qualifications and performance. Compensation for this position is very competitive. There is strong regional support...you are not on your own, but will have resources to assist you. Responsibilities • Create and submit accurate MDS reports in a timely manner. • Provide leadership for the MDS Department, ensuring standards of practice are uniformly implemented in the facility. • Stay abreast of current Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as prepare for upcoming changes in a proactive manner. • Ensure staff have the necessary tools to efficiently capture and report clinical reimbursement for services rendered. • Evaluate, sustain, and improve existing MDS procedures and practices where needed. Qualifications Desired • WI RN licensure. License must be in good standing. • 1 or more years of MDS Coordinator or Restorative nursing experience required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse staff and residents.
