[Remote] Regional Veterinarian Recruiter

Acorn Animal Hospital is a veterinary management company seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Veterinarian Recruiter to join their in-house Talent Acquisition team. This fully remote role involves attracting, engaging, and hiring top veterinarian talent for their network of hospitals across Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, while collaborating closely with operations leaders and hospital teams. Responsibilities • Partner with Regional Operations Managers and hospital leadership to assess recruiting needs and create customized hiring strategies. • Build strong relationships with clinics to understand their culture, values, and unique recruiting challenges. • Provide timely and accurate communication to candidates and stakeholders throughout the selection process. • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for open veterinarian positions across multiple regions. • Report key recruiting metrics and candidate activity to leadership, using data to guide decision-making. • Source and attract candidates through a variety of direct outreach channels including job boards, social media, professional associations, referral networks, and CRM tools (Salesforce). • Write, post, and manage job ads using our ATS (Pinpoint) and external platforms, including veterinary college career boards. • Build a sustainable pipeline of active and passive veterinarian candidates for current and future openings. • Conduct phone interviews, manage candidate communication, and guide candidates through the hiring process. • Negotiate offers and collaborate with hospital leadership on final selections. • Analyze sourcing effectiveness and recommend process improvements. • Promote and manage the veterinary referral pipeline. • Train and support hospital and operations teams on effective ATS usage. • Represent Innovetive Petcare at veterinary school events, conferences, and virtual career fairs. Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience recruiting veterinarians or in veterinary talent acquisition. • Proven success filling veterinarian roles in a fast-paced environment. • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, ATS/CRM platforms (Pinpoint, Salesforce), and social media sourcing. • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. • A people-first mindset with a sense of urgency and passion for connecting great veterinarians with rewarding careers. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple searches simultaneously.
