[Remote] SAFe Certified Senior Scrum Master - 100% remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Motion Recruitment is seeking a SAFe Certified Senior Scrum Master for a Fortune 500 client undergoing an enterprise IT transformation. This role involves leading Agile practices and supporting the transition to a modern Microservices/Cloud environment while facilitating Scrum processes and improving team effectiveness. Responsibilities • Apply working knowledge of Waterfall/traditional project management practices to integrate Waterfall teams and venders into the Agile portfolio and encourage their steady transition into adopting Agile practices. • Educate team and support members on Scrum Framework and mindset. Guiding the team in self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. • Conduct and facilitate all Ceremonies (daily standups sprint planning, grooming sessions, product reviews, sprint retrospectives and other essential scrum events). • Provide recommendations to the team on how to increase effectiveness and efficiency with a keen eye on process improvement opportunities. • Create all required artifacts required by the company's agile methodology. Generate sprint health reports and other dashboards as it pertains to the product. Maintains communication with relevant Business representatives (Product Manager) and Functional representatives in regard to statuses, risks and concerns impacting the sprint delivery. Skills • At least 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role. • Experience using Azure DevOps for project planning and tracking backlogs. • Knowledge of waterfall/traditional project management practices to integrate waterfall teams and vendors into the Agile portfolio, and encourage their steady transition into adopting Agile practices. • 10 years of IT experience preferably as an IT Project Manager managing projects in a traditional project management practices like Waterfall. • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile Framework environment. • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for project planning and tracking backlogs. • Experience supporting Agile Release Trains • PMP certification.
