Software Solutions Engineer

About this opportunity: GoEngineer is a provider of the most compelling design platforms in the industry, deploying engineering software and 3D Printing technology to make the design process innovative, efficient, and intelligent. A Software Solutions Engineer (SE) is responsible for the successful execution of software implementation projects for GoEngineer customers. This position will have frequent client contact and therefore requires a blend of design process, software technical expertise and effective communication skills to be successful. Your key contributions in this role will be: • Understanding client requirements • Identifying & documenting software configuration needs • Configuring and installing the software • User training • Post implementation project support We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply: • Bachelor's in Engineering preferred but not required (or equivalent mechanical design experience) • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities - 3D MCAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, other) • Previous PDM system experience (SolidWorks PDM Professional or other) • Experience with relational database systems, preferably MS SQL Server • Superior Windows and computer user • Familiarity with computer network and authentication protocols • Excellent customer service and client communication skills • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and accomplish tasks • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a structured and organized manner. • Commitment to excellence and pride in their work and strong work ethic • Good presentation and technical writing skills • Team player with a positive attitude More about what GoEngineer offers: At GoEngineer, we understand that our value comes from our employees, and we celebrate and respect their unique experiences.
