About the Opportunity:
? Your contributions will help train AI models on complex STEM topics by...
? Creating difficult questions (including prompts and potential answers) and
? Providing correct answers and structured reasoning
? Evaluate the questions and answers created by fellow contributors
? Project duration is expected to run through the end of August, with other opportunities to contribute on Outlier available thereafter

Qualifications: ? Completed or currently pursuing a PhD degree in a climate-science-related field (such as environmental science, environmental policy, earth science, atmospheric studies, ecology, and climate economics) ? Ability to write engaging, accurate, and insightful content related to Climate Science ? Research and fact-checking abilities ? Be located in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, or Argentina

Nice to Have:
? Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles
? Interest in AI and machine learning concepts

Additional Note:

This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis. We don?t offer internships as this is a freelance role. You also must be authorized to work in your country of residence, and we will not be providing sponsorship since this is a 1099 contract opportunity. However, if you are an international student, you may be able to sign up if you are on a visa. You should contact your tax/immigration advisor with specific questions regarding your circumstances. We are unable to provide any documentation supporting employment at this time. Please be advised that compensation rates may differ for non-US locations.

Base pay is determined by multiple factors, including the area of expertise, years of experience, and skillset needed for the project. Pay rates vary during the project lifecycle. For example, rates for onboarding are lower.
