This role will not only involve solving technical issues but also providing a delightful customer experience. Apple will provide the necessary equipment, ensuring you can deliver service that meets Apple’s standards.
You will receive comprehensive paid training where you will learn about Apple technology, troubleshooting, customer support techniques, and the specifics of our products. Performance assessments are continuous, aiming to ensure you feel competent and capable in handling varied customer scenarios. This position requires a commitment to learning and maintaining your knowledge of Apple’s technology and its updates.
**Requirements:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in customer service or IT support is preferable.
2. Proficient with macOS or comparable technology and basic troubleshooting for iOS devices.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently in a quiet, distraction-free home office setting.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
6. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, or variable schedules as needed.
7. Reliable high-speed internet connection.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Provide friendly and efficient customer service to Apple? customers by phone, chat, or email.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Apple hardware, software, and services.
3. Assist customers with installation, operation, and configuration of hardware and software.
4. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken.
5. Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers?equests.
6. Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally and escalate to the appropriate channels.
7. Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.

**Educational Qualifications:**
– Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelor? degree in a relevant field preferred.
