Job Description

The Driver - Cross Dock is a non touch freight position and responsible for driving tractor and trailer to transport and deliver products from the distribution center to the sales center.

What your day will look like:
? Completes pre-trip and post trip inspections
? Drives tractor trailers between sales centers
? Operate a forklift
? Assist Warehouse department with loading and unloading of trucks

What you need to succeed:
? Minimum age 21 years old
? Class A Commercial Valid Driver's License required, and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
? Ability to obtain Doubles Endorsement within 30-45 days of hire date, if applicable
? Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
? Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
? Ability to read, write and speak English
? Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
? Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
? Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
? High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Ability to become forklift certified
? Frequent exposure to chemicals, noise, and frequent sitting (chemical exposure may change depending on location)
? Ability to provide quality management
? Ability to demonstrate teamwork
? Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
? Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
