About The Role
This position offers remote work opportunities in a dynamic contact center environment. We are seeking a dedicated Business Insurance Agent - Intermediate for our Commercial Lines department.
Key Responsibilities
? Engage in inbound sales to advise business owners on insurance and risk management.
? Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with members, non-members, and insurance carriers.
? Ensure compliance with insurance standards and minimize errors through meticulous documentation.
? Provide accurate risk management solutions based on industry trends and regulatory changes.
? Utilize Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms to select appropriate products and carriers.
? Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate endorsements, renewals, and other underwriting decisions.
? Perform Insurance to Value (ITV) calculations for diverse property types.
? Handle account services including policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
Required Qualifications
? High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
? 1 year of insurance sales and service experience, preferably in commercial insurance.
? Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for home state or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
? 2+ years of Commercial Lines Insurance account management experience.
? Experience with Agency Management Systems, Salesforce, and multiple carrier environments.
? Active P&C General Lines License for home state.
