Position Description:

Are you interested in shifting from your current role as a Legal Admin to a position as a Digital Reporter? As a Legal Admin - Digital Reporter ('DR'), your responsibility would be to oversee civil litigation proceedings and capture all content, including witness testimony, using digital tools.

The Digital Reporter is responsible for:
? Supervising proceedings as an impartial custodian of the record.
? Administering oaths to witnesses and fulfilling duties as a State Notary.
? Recording proceedings with high-fidelity audio technology for clear and comprehensive documentation.
? Annotating case events and terminology accurately for precise transcription.
? Conducting in-depth research and verifying information from various sources.
? Utilizing digital databases and online research tools proficiently.

Requirements: ? Obtain certification or state licensure as required ? Possess or have the ability to obtain certification/state licensure (in required states) ? Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, U.S. civil proceedings ? Ownership of or willingness to acquire digital reporting equipment ? Confidence in moderating live legal proceedings ? Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing ? Proficient with technology, including strong keyboard skills ? Professional demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and presentability ? Willingness to work as an independent contractor ? Note: No shorthand nor stenography is required ? Willing to work both remotely and in person
