Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and caring Special Education Teacher to provide remote instruction for high school students with diverse learning needs. This position involves working with students who have Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Challenges, Cognitive Impairments, and Speech/Language delays in an online setting.

Key Responsibilities: ? Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' unique needs. ? Deliver lessons through Edgenuity, customizing content to support students? academic goals. ? Track student progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching methods as needed. ? Maintain communication with families and other professionals to ensure students receive appropriate support. ? Keep detailed records of student performance and IEP progress.

Required Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in Special Education (Master?s preferred). ? Valid Michigan Special Education Certification. ? Experience with high school students, preferably in an online environment. ? Liability insurance required upon hire.
