Apple Online Store Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated and talented engineer to join our team. To be successful, you must be a strong programmer, proficient at thoroughly testing applications and build test automation tools, and helping improve team velocity through automation. We are looking for highly-technical engineer who can continually research and apply the newest technologies to test engineering, independently and collaboratively tackle issues and influence the teams to embrace the best test practices. Deeply engage with the engineering teams through all phases of development.

Description

In this role, you will be involved in Quality Assurance automation testing for critical customer facing applications.
Build Quality test plans and automation tools to reduce regression test cycle, take Quality to next level by using ML and AI in automation.
Work closely with multi-functional teams to develop test plans, execute test cases and deliver high quality products.
Implement and integrate automation testing framework with existing processes and infrastructure.
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in workflows and suggest vital process improvements.
Self-motivated, able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete requirements.
Provide Project Managers with timely and accurate testing status and progress during all testing phases, including summarizing Quality results at project conclusion.
Able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in Agile method.

Minimum Qualifications
? 5 years of strong QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications with a proven track record detecting and writing bug reports.
? Experience in testing API/Web Service and Web applications. Hands-on experience on Core Java, and experience with any of the following Karate, RestAssured, Playwright/Selenium, Appium/XCUI
? Proficiency in Java, Python, Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
? Previous experience supporting eCommerce platforms or Retail/Payment systems.
? Familiarity with Project Management principles, including Agile methodology and D2P (Development to Production) processes.
? Experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
? Ability to simplify and present complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner.
? Experience with Testing of AI/ML applications, security and accessibility testing is good to have.
? Experience in Maven/Gradle and Git repositories is highly preferred
? BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
? Expertise in building and maintaining test beds, test environments and automated data driven test suite
? Solid understanding of software build tools, CI/CD integrations, deployment process and code quality checking tools

? At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
