About the role:

At Turing, we are looking for an accomplished PHP Tech Lead who will work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and adopt the best practices of test-driven development. Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver cutting-edge software systems
• Ensure to adhere to development methodologies and standards
• Encourage code reviews for quality assurance
• Provide technical guidance to development team members and share feedback
• Produce high-quality application engineering deliverables in accordance with the project timeline
• Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in PHP development
• Working experience in the software development domain with a focus on PHP with Node and Angular
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented Design principles and patterns
• Solid knowledge of the following frameworks - Laravel, PHP Yii 2
• Expertise in using the latest engineering tools, i.e. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git, etc.
• Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Exposure to relational databases, such as MySQL, and NoSQL databases, like MongoDB
• Strong understanding of web design and development frameworks
• Fluency in English to ensure smooth communication with international teams/stakeholders
• Comfortable with working full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones
