Role Summary

A leading digital transformation firm in the life sciences industry seeks an experienced Content Consultant with a strong background in the life sciences/biopharma industry, specifically in R&D/PPM/data analytics. The ideal candidate is an experienced author of long-form content with a track record in thought leadership and insights-driven content creation. This individual will play a key role in the content team, crafting compelling narratives, whitepapers, and strategic insights for the target audience.

This role involves strategic content development and execution, requiring creativity and the ability to evaluate and communicate ideas across the organization. The consultant will work closely with other marketing specialists, account development teams, and practice leads while being a core member of the Marketing team.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Strategy

Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine content strategies that engage and educate the audience, supporting demand generation and brand positioning goals.

Thought Leadership: Utilize deep industry expertise to develop thought leadership pieces that position the company as an innovator in pharma PPM and R&D.

Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Partner with internal teams to gather insights and develop accurate, impactful content.

Execution

Content Development: Create high-quality, long-form content, including whitepapers, case studies, research reports, and industry insights tailored to life sciences R&D PPM and data professionals.

Market and Industry Analysis: Stay current on industry trends in pharma, life sciences, and PPM to inform content strategy and ensure relevance in all written materials.

Editing and Refinement: Provide editing support and ensure all content maintains the company s brand voice and meets high standards of quality.

KPIs for Success

Engagement score of content across different channels.

Positioning of the company as a thought leader across various mediums.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Required

Pharma Industry Experience: 12-15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry, specifically in R&D, PPM, or a closely related function.

Content Creation Expertise: Proven experience in creating and authoring long-form content, including whitepapers, industry reports, or other forms of in-depth written material.

Strong Analytical and Research Skills: Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, accessible language and compelling narratives.

Background in Content Marketing: Experience in B2B content marketing, particularly in life sciences or pharma technology. Hands-on experience in content management is a plus.
